POST: NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Executive BASE: Craftsman House, De Salis Drive, Hampton Lovett, Droitwich, WR9 0QE SALARY: Up to £37K FTE plus benefits HOURS: 30- 35 HOURS The Rees Foundation seeks to improve the lives of those who are care experienced at any age. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who really wants to make a difference. You will have a proven track record of delivering large scale and sustained success in securing public sector commissioning contracts, individual and corporate donations and sponsorship. You will display an entrepreneurial flair and demonstrate your ability to work in partnership with colleagues, partners and the business community to leverage income opportunities which can be used to further extend the services we offer. You will be highly motivated and organised, demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and ability to innovate. You will have worked across sectors and understand the value and uniqueness of the third sector. You will possess some finance / bid writing, and publicity experience, be confident and well presented, used to representing a group or organisation at a strategic level. You will bring demonstrable new business experience, and have an understanding of charity funding models. With a clear understanding and/or experience of the issues faced by those who have been in care, this role provides a unique opportunity to be part of the charities growth.
