RP Grant – support with essential items
Leaving care without family support can result in real financial need. With the generous support of our funder, we can provide small grants for essential items that cannot be funded by the local authority or another public body.

​The fund is available to care-experienced young people aged 18-25. Applications must be submitted by a Rees Foundation employee, Personal Adviser or Social Worker.

We will consider applications of up to £1,000 for essential items such as:

  • A fridge or washing machine
  • A pram
  • Work clothes, tools or equipment needed to start employment

​If an application is successful, the items will be purchased and provided directly to the applicant. Cash payments will not be made.
