Careers Support

Care doesn’t stop at 18, 21 or 25.

When you are leaving the care system it can feel a little unsettling. Entering the world of work may also be overwhelming. Here at Rees, no matter your age, we seek to support you emotionally and practically by offering a bespoke careers service to assist you into work or training.

Our team are all Mental Health First Aid qualified and will help you to meet your goals at each stage and step of the way.

Acing an Interview

Interview Material Support

Once you have secured the interview for the role you want, we are here to help you succeed.

We can connect you with organisations that provide interview clothing, we can help you prepare for the types of questions you might be asked by the interview panel, and how you may consider responding. After the interview, we can debrief on how the interview went and support you while you wait for the outcome.
Do you need to prepare a presentation for your interview? Sometimes employers will ask you to present something to them so they can see if you have the right skills for the job.

If so, we can help prepare the material and you can practice the presentation with us.

Filling in HR Paperwork

Before you start your new role, the necessary HR forms and paperwork will need to be completed. You will most likely be signing a contract of employment, company handbooks, health and safety forms; we can assist you with all the necessary paperwork and HR forms.

Your first weeks in the role

Our support doesn't stop after securing a role. We are here as a mentor for the first few weeks and months as you settle in and for any other help you may need along the way.

We offer assistance to employers if required, to help them understand how to support you in the role.
