Make the most of time

Picture
The powerful personal testimony of our care experienced trainer and their journey through a disrupted childhood, prison and probation, to inspiring professional practitioners.

This workshop is a reflection of their formative years and the impact of time spent in custody and the opportunity it gave them to think. They reveal the life changing
influence of the time their personal advisor invested in them.
This workshop will motivate professionals as they hear that everyone can make a difference.
Who should attend?
All social care practitioners, personal advisors, social workers, foster carers. Practitioners working in the prison service and probation.

Course Objectives
  • Promote understanding of the emotional impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences
  • Advice on how best to support people at risk of offending and those rehabilitating
  • To motivate all staff to engage and connect
