24 hour counselling helpline
We can provide information booklets, articles, resource information on support services in your local area and even short- term face-to-face counselling to help get you back on track. Our solution focussed model of counselling is appropriate for both workplace and personal related issues, including, but not limited to;
Face to Face counselling
We understand some situations need additional help, which is why our Ask Jan membership includes face to face counselling. Based on a brief short-term model, this service allows eight sessions with a face-to-face counsellor following initial telephone contact and assessment.
As a member, you can make a direct request to be referred to a face-to-face counsellor and sessions last for one hour.
Face to face appointments are arranged mutually between our members and their counsellor, taking into account the urgency of the situation, location and accessibility. Appointments will be arranged within 24 hours and will be available within 48 hours if necessary but will always take place within five working days. The maximum distance any member would have to travel to a counsellor would be 15 miles or 30 minutes by public transport.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - CBT online counselling
Aided by a recognised organisational expert in online CBT, we have created this specialist online CBT programme. The programme consists of seven sessions, video based and therapist supported, and covers the following;
Online counselling is secure, discreet and can be accessed by members at work, home or in public places. The service guarantees anonymous immediate support, through the bespoke, secure, real time communication service. We are the only provider to utilise a completely bespoke, 100% secure, real-time online communication service. Unlike other providers, our online counselling is a closed system which is hosted on our own private, secure, encrypted servers.
Financial Information and Debt Management
Our specialist debt management team provide practical, emotional & behavioural support to individuals. By supporting, educating and looking at behavioural habits, we can help individuals take control of their financial situation.
The team provide practical and emotional support for a broad range of situations from basic budgeting and financial education to severe/chronic cases of debt which may include repossessions, bankruptcy and repayment agreements.
