It is well known that care leavers may face significant disadvantage growing up which can affect their long-term life chances.
Having an awareness of the challenges and barriers that care leavers often face, while not making stereotypical assumptions, can help employers to offer opportunities and give support that is appropriate and effective. This can make a difference to care leavers in building successful careers. |
This course offers knowledge, skills and confidence to managers who may be supporting care leavers as part of their team.
