Crisis Payments

We aim to help care experienced people who find they are in financial crisis. You can apply for a small crisis payment to help out in an emergency for things like gas, electric or essential travel costs and, if short of food, we may be able to provide grocery gift vouchers.

To minimise cash payments we will always try to purchase the goods you need. Only in exceptional circumstances will we make cash payments and we then respectfully request that you let us have copies of the receipts from your purchases for our records. If you are still eligible for support from the Local Authority Leaving Care Team then we will, wherever possible, help you to access that support where appropriate.

We will try our best to respond to you within the same or next working day.
